Why do you think psychology should/should not be taught as a compulsory subject in school?

I'm a psychologist myself, so I'll be biased towards the answer with factual reason being.
 

It should be taught as a compulsory subject in schools and universities for one simple reason, everyone should be aware of their mental well being and should be aware of any kind of trouble they are going through and should be able to distinguish of there is any problem
 .

A healthy mind is required for healthy functioning of day to day life.
